BOOKS FOR ZAMBIA

ODCEM has connected the International School of Trieste (IST), Italy (www.istrieste.org) and the United World College of the Adriatic, Italy (www.uwcad.it) with the Helen Kaunda Memorial Library in Luanshya, Zambia.
Theresa Lungu founded Books for Zambia in 2003 to save her hometown library in Luanshya, Zambia from closure.
A successful book drive took place at IST during the month of May 2016. Thanks to the generous support of Pacorini international shipping company (www.pacorini.it), two cubic meters of texbooks and children's books will be delivered to the Helen Kaunda Memorial Library in Luanshya, Zambia.
ODCEM is developing plans to convert the Helen Kaunda Memorial Library in Zambia in a center of economic activity and learning, in a self-sustaining manner, in part through donated texbooks.
